Executive Headshots and Portraits | Tampa | St Petersburg | Clearwater

One area of photography I really enjoy is taking executive headshots.  Actually, they really are not “headshots”.  They really are portraits.  I use six (6) in the studio to light my subject and set!  Many photographers only use three.  I feel there is a difference.

For the corporate executive, business owner, attorney, doctor, or real estate agent, a proper portrait is essential to help them promote themselves and their career.  That’s where I come in.  There is nothing like a fully re-touched business portrait to make a good first impression.

For more examples go to my executive / corporate portrait and headshot website.  Email me for availability at:!  Even on short notice I can usually get you in.

Award Winning Photography

As you have probably noticed, I have completely revamped my website and blog.  In fact, my blog is totally new!  I am no computer geek so transferring all my old blog posts to the new site was just too daunting.  I know a lot of content is gone, but, it will be fun replacing it with my new blog.

My first post is a little self pat on the back.  I recently entered two images in my guild’s image competition.  The Tampa Area Professional Photographers Association (TAPPA) puts on two image salons a year, before the state competition.  I entered for the first time last week.  I put two images in and both received a “merit”.  To receive a “merit” the image has to receive a numerical score of 80 or above (out of 100).  With that score the image is judged to be “Deserving of a Merit”.  Both my images made the 80 point mark.  I cannot tell you how hard it is to get to that point.  The judges are all master photographers and, although fair, are very critical.

It was very rewarding for me to receive the “merits”.  I will continue to submit images that I think are worthy.  Most will be images I take for myself, not family portraits, but, we’ll see.
